Building at Ipswich
On a site secured 30 years ago in Ipswich by the late Bishop Cary-Elwes, Bishop Parker of Northampton on Saturday laid the foundation stone for the new Church of St. Mary Magdalen. The Church will seat 200 and will be ready in about six months. Extensions will be made later on.
THE ANNUAL REQUIEM MASS for deceased members of the Metropolitan Catholic Teachers' Association will be offered in St. Patrick's, Soho Square, London, on Thursday, November 17, at 6.30 p.m.
THE WESTMINSTER CATHOLIC EVIDENCE GUILD has elected: Master, Mr. A. W. Barr; secretary, Mr. Edgar Spencer; treasurer. Mr. David Jago.
