Papal Delegates Visit Dutch Children

Archbishop Grobbe, 'MCI-Nuncio to the Netherlands Government, and Archbishop Godfrey, Apostolic Delegate to Great Britain, recently paid a MIL to the camp near Hull where are housed some 501) Dutch children, of

whom nearly all arc Catholics. The Archbishops spent the night in huts in the eanap, and visitee the children as they were saying then night prayers. They took their meals with the cbildren in the large dining-hall.

On the Sunday morning bath Archbishops said Mass in the camp and gave Holy Communion to large numbers of children. They afterwards attended a Missa Cantata at which a special choir of the general congregation of children sang the Plain Chant. Later the distinguished visitors attended a parade and heard the singing of the Mitch and Britsh National Anthems, while the national flags were being hoisted.

The children are under the care of their own countrymen and women and are already showing great physical improvement after the privations suffered in their native rand
