THREE RULES FOR PARENTS

Safeguard children' "IF you value your children's

lives--I mean their spiritual lives -be careful to remember these three important rules," says Bishop Restieaux of Plymouth in his Lenten pastoral, appealing to Catholic fathers and mothers to model their homes on the Holy Family.

"Firstly. teach your little children their prayers so that God's presence is felt in your home. Secondly, when they go to school be sure that it is a Catholic school. Thirdly. where there is no Catholic school. let nothing prevent their regular attendance at the catechism classes until they reach the schoolleaving age."
