NINE, Cardinals, 63 Archbishops,
300 Bishops. and other leading prelates of Latin America will assemble in Rome next November to draw up plans aimed at solving a number of religious problems in 27 nations of the Western Hemisphere. The meeting will be held on the occasion of the first centenary of the foundation of the Pontifical Latin American College of Rome.
The problems to he tackled will include: the growing activity of Protestant sects in these Catholic countdes; Communism, which is spreading among the working classes; the battle against illiteracy, which is a stumbling block in the spreading of the Gospel; and the need for more clergy in Latin Americaq countries,
