Wreaths laid for unborn children

Seventeen wreaths in memory of 170,000 unborn children legally killed during 1973 through the Abortion Act were laid in the courtyard of St. Matthew's Anglican Church, Great Peter Street, London, S.W.1, on Friday, Each wreath of holly and white flowers represented 10,000 unborn children, and were laid by members of the Society for Protection of Unborn Children. The ceremony, conducted by the Rev. G. Irvine, vicar of St. Matthew's, followed a Communion service for Holy Innocents' Day.
