Priest's £25,000 for Irish diocese
Fr Thomas Moore, of Glenflesk, Killarney, Co. Kerry, parish priest, who died in July, left estate in England, Wales and the Republic of Ireland valued at £25,131. He left £100 for Masses, and the residue to the Bishop of Kerry for charitable diocesan purposes at his discretion.
Mr John Edward Dempsey, of Sandridge Road, St , Albans, Hertfordshire, who died in October, left £27,339 gross, £27,020 net. He left £250 to the Society of St Vincent de Paul, St Albans Conference; £125 each to St Vincent's Family Housing Association, the Crusade of Rescue, the Society of St Augustine of Canterbury, St Joseph's Hospice, the Catenian Association Benevolent Fund, Westminster Ecclesiastical Education Fund, the Catholic Fund for Overseas Development, the •Catholic Housing Aid Society, the Aged Poor Society of St Joseph's House, London, the Converts Aid Society, the Association for the Propagation of the Faith, the Catholic Truth Society, the Society of St Vincent de Paul, for their "Twinnage" Scheme, Help the Aged, the Friends of St Albans City Hospital. the Hosanna House Trust, the Imperial Cancer Research Fund and the National Society for Cancer Relief. After £250, and eightfifteenths of the residue to personal legatees, he left £250 to St Albans and St Stephen's Catholic Church, St Albans, and seven-fifteenths of the residue equally between them and the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, Cork.
