Among the forty odd balloons which have been visible round about London for the last week, is one which springs from holy grcund, and is based on a church. The grounds of St. Joseph's Retreat, Highgate, the church of which is conspicuous by its green copper dome for many miles around, accommodates the ground crew and apparatus of one of the balloons of the London barrage.
