Kidsgrove May Procession

School children, parishioners and the parish priest, thc Rev. H. Taylor, of St. John's, Kidsgrove, Staffs, took part in a public May Procession through the main streets of the town last week-end.

Children of Mary carried the Statue of Our Lady and, on he return to the church, the statue was crowned by the May Queen, Margaret Walsh. The Rev. D. Kelly, parish priest of Holy Trinity, Newcastle-under-Lyme, preached the sermon. A street collection for the School Building Fund was taken and the townspeople subscribed generously.
