Angola closes radio station

THE ANGOLAN GOVERNMENT has closed down the Catholic-owned radio station Eeclesia and nationalised its assets. They accused the station of "impermissible reactionary and criminal actions", and claimed that it infringed Article 7 of the Angolan Constitution.
