THOUSANDS marched to the cathedral in San Salvador on March 24 to commemorate the seventh anniversary of the assassination of Archbishop Oscar Romero. About 12,000 gathered in front of the cathedral carrying banners demanding punishment for the archbishop's murderers and an End to human rights abuse in their country.
