Bishop Roger Tort of Montauban, who died last week, aged 57, was buried in Montauban Cathedral on Thursday last week with 200 Catholic clergy gathered to honor him.

According to police Bishop Tort's body was found in the hall of a hotel used by prostitutes, The woman proprietor said the bishop had died on the pavement outside, apparently of a heart attack. She had brought the body inside to await the police.
