The Workers Have Four Fears

Catholics must play their full part in the community as advocates of justice for all men, of

whatever creed or colour.

This was said by Councillor Harper, of Derby, when he addressed the C.P.E.A. there on Sunday.

The Councillor said he hoped that Catholics would aim at removing the four great fears of the working classes. The fear that a large family could not be raised, for economic reasons; fear of unemployment; fear of sickness; and fear of economic insecurity in old age.
