" Cheaper To Wash In Beer" At a meeting of the

Cardiff City Council recently, references were made to the high charges for water in Cardiff, and it was stated that there were very few places in the country where the rates were so exorbitant.

Mr. George Williams said he had a warehouse which boasted two taps, and he had been told that it would be cheaper to wash in beer.
