Mgr, Tracisio Martina, 68-yearold Prefect Apostolic of Yihsicn, China, has been released from prison three years after being given a life sentence on a charge of having taken part in an alleged plot to kill Mao Tse-tung.
Mgr. Martina has reached Hong Kong looking pale but fairly well. He said that for 10 days after his conviction he was handcuffed, and for four months he was shackled. He was then transferred to another prison. where the treatment was much better.
