Catholic College For South India

Arrangements are being completed for the erection of a Catholic college in the South Indian diocese of Changanacherry. The project. backed by Bishop James Kalacherry cf Changanacherry and several other members of the Indian Hierarchy, has been promised the support of leading lay Catholias.
One member of the laity has promised to supply the books required for the college library_ The college will be named after St. Thomas the Apostle, the 19th centenary of whose arrival in India will be celebrated next sear. The college is expected to be ready by the autumn of next year.
