THIS year's edition, while similar in content to the English directory, shows in addition the division of the African dioceses into (heir respective countries, which are now mostly Independent states. The Irish diocesan statistics are considerably improved. Useful statistics include census returns and details of the political parties. and there is a short section devoted to the National University of Ireland.
