Denounce Communism In France

Four hundred French newspapers have protested against Communism in France.

They have publishe,' an appeal to the Chamber and Senate demanding the abolition of French Communism.

The appeal declares that when the nation is trying to reorganise, no foreign forces should be allowed to hinder the work.

DIRECTED FROM RUSSIA The Communist Party, the appeal states, is maintained and directed by a foreign Government-Russia. Its object is the destruction of Western civilisation by means of War, civil and foreign, and the destruction of liberty and property.

Even Leon Blum, the Socialist leader, it is claimed, denounced the Communists' civil war aim in his book on Bolshevism and Socialism.

The party is affiliated to the Communist International, and it has been officially laid down that there is an obligation on the part of subordinate organisations to carry out all orders of the Communist International.
