DEATH OF JAMES SEXTON

Sir James Sexton, Labour M.P., and sturdy fighter for Catholic education, died in Liverpool on Tuesday. The leader of the dock labourers, when successfully rallying opposition at the Trade Union Congress to a resolution which sought to commit Trade Unionism to secularist education, openly declared that he found inspiration for the fight in his early Catholic environment and the influence of a truly religious mother.
