Off the mark

MAY I suggest the courtesy of your columns to pay a compliment and make a complaint? I was very impressed by the sensitivity of Paul Goodman in a recent interview with me (Me and My God, August 23) but am appalled by an error in presentation.
The crosshead from the original interview attributed the words, "Got that?" to me. While in the text this was an entirely acceptable comment from the interviewer, presented as it was it made my attempt to make a difficult point sound intolerably arrogant.
