Lib Dem leader says he attends Mass every week

LIBERAL Democrat leader Nick Clegg has disclosed that he attends weekly Mass despite not believing in God himself.
Although he is the only party leader who is not a Christian, Mr Clegg is the only one to attend Catholic Masses, alongside his Spanish wife Miriam González Durántez and their three sons. They are regular Mass-goers at St William of York in Sheffield Hallam, and at Our Lady of Pity and St Simon Stock in Putney, south-west London.
Mr Clegg, writing in the Church of England Newspaper, claimed Christian values were at the core of the Lib Dem manifesto. He said: “My objective is to make space in society for every individual to pursue their own beliefs.”
