All Pilgrims To Launceston

Date finally fixed for the traditional pilgrimage at Launceston, Cornwall, is Sunday, June 27, when Mgr. Grimshaw, Bishop, of Plymouth (now on a visit to'Australia), will preside and preach.

Four priests are to carry the relic of Blessed Cuthbert Mayne along the martyrdom route. Benediction being given afterwards in the convent grounds.

Known locally as Catholic Sunday " the annual pilgrimage, suspended during the war till its revival this year, is expected to attract considerable numbers, the general intention being the conversion of England and increased devotion to the English martyrs.

Next year's pilgrimage will coincide with the fourth centenary of the Western Rising, when it is expected to organise the festivities on a grander scale.
