Dazed and terror-stricken by merciless bombing and overwhelming floods thousands upon thousands of women and children are suffering indescribable agony of mind and body. Relief workers toil heroically, handicapped by serious shortage of food and medical supplies.
CARDINAL HINSLEY, in his recent appeal said : I commend most heartily the work that has already been accomplished and appeal directly to Catholics to give the fund their support . . . Catholic missions have received the fullest possible help.
