THE subject of this article is Television, music, art and drama. At the specific request of the Editor of the CATHOLIC HERALD, I have concentrated my remarks mainly on Television, only lightly touching on the

manner in which it affects the other art forms.

While Television serves to develop music, art and drama, the format for a successful career in these professions has through the years remained
