Harlow pageant of Our Lady of Fatima

On Sunday, at Harlow New Town, where Fr. Francis Burgess, C.R.I.C., is fighting to build the Church of Our Lady of Fatima and the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary to make up a trinity of Harlow Marian churches, a Marian pageant will he attended by Catholics from all over Essex.

The procession will assemble at 2.45 p.m. at the London Road end of First Avenue and will Walk to Mark Hall Moors, where a play, "The Pageant of the Story of Fatima," will be enacted about 4.15 p.m., followed by an address by Canon Howell and Solemn Benediction. Refreshments and other facilities will be available at Tanys Dell School, adjoining the moors.

The purpose of the pageant is to spread the message of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Rosary to Catholics and non-Catholics alike. Fr. Burgess wants to see Our Lady of Fatima honoured, her requests granted and her promises of peace and the conversion of Russia fulfilled as a result.
