40 choirboys at Westminster Summer School

-UORTY choirboys, chosen from choirs in all parts of the country, will be going to Westminster Cathedral on Monday. August 12, for a fortnight's Summer School, The boys have all been chosen for their musical ability, and it is hoped that the School, which is being organised by Perri Calliores, will become a regular event and play an important part in the revival of Catholic church music.

In charge of the Summer School will be Fr. Wilfrid Purney. National President of Neil Can(ores. The Musical programme will he under the care of Mr, Colin Mawby, Director of the Cathedral Choir, and Mr. Jonathan Steele, Director of the London Buy Singers. The boys will provide the music for the Capitular High Masses in the Cathedral on the feast of the Assumption. and on the XIth and XlIth Sundays after Pentecost.
