Grand Master for the C.S.C.G.

Cardinal Griffin has appointed Mr. W. S. A. Winter, C.B.E., to be Grand Master of the Civil Service Catholic Guild in succession to Sir Desmond Morton, K.C.B., who has resigned on his retirement from the Civil Service.

Mr. Winter is an Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Works and Master of of the Guild's Southwark branch.

His Eminence has appointed Sir Desmond Morton a vice-president of the Guild.
