THE FORMER MASTER general of the Dominican order will give a memorial lecture next month to mark the 40th anniversary of the founding of CAFOD the international aid agency of the bishops of England and Wales.
Fr Timothy Radcliffe OP, who recently gave a keynote speech to the bishops' study week meeting in Guernsey and also to the National Conference of Priests, will give the Pope Paul VI Memorial Lecture on the theme of "Globalising Hope". Cherie Booth QC, the wife of Prime Minister Tony Blair, will chair the event at The Assembly Hall, Church House in Great Smith Street, Westminster on Friday December 6.
