MONOPOLY FOR NAZI PAPER
Der Angriff, which was founded by Dr. Goebbels, is the official evening paper Of the National-Socialist party in Berlin, writes our German correspondent.
It is, however, much less popular than other evening papers, such as the Nachlausgabe, the 8 U hrA bend blatt and the Berliner Volkszeitung.
All efforts to increase the circulation of Der Angriff failing, the president of the Reich Press Chamber, Herr Amann, has issued an ordinance forbidding any evening paper except Der Angriff to be sold in the streets of Berlin before 2.45 p.m.
That gives the Nazi paper an advance of a full hour, when it can be sold without any competition.
The matter becomes more interesting if one knows that the president of the press chamber is at the same time director of the publishing company Eher which owns Der Angriff.
