FR JOHN C O'Mahony C.S.Sp, writing from the Catholic Church, Karen, PO Box 24829 Nairobi, Kenya, East Africa, thanks the donor of his annual subscription to the Catholic Herald, and says: "I came to Kenya in 1953 and have served ever since in the Kiarnbu, Nairobi and Machakos Districts. Presently 1, together with two small Christian communities (al two outstations) are striving to collect towards the purchases of two church plots and the construction of two small churches in wood and corrugated iron sheeting on those plots. The total cost will be about £9,700. We have gone one third of the way in our efforts.
