Catholic soldiers officers and men of all ranks, and members of the A.T.S who gave [heti lives in the was are to be oommemoo ated by the building of a Mernotlel Church m which Massa and Prayers would be conunually and perpetually offered for their eternal rest. This announcement was made by the Senior Catholic Chaplain to the Army recently. The announcement continued: ' In view ref the building situation and prospects the actual undertaking would have to be postponed lot some time, but it is felt that the time is now ripe fro the opening of a fund and subscription list for this purpose " Any donation. howevei small. will he gratefully received and acknowledged Donors of £5 and Upwards will be entered as Foun. dens in a book kept for the par' pose and special Foundation Masses would be offered at stated times fee their ;ntentions But any offering will be most welcome and will ensure a share in the purpose of the Memorial Church and participation in the suffrages that will be offered there for the deceased military of the 1939-45 War Cheques ano postal orders should be mark payable to the Catholic Soldiers' Memorial Church Fund and addressed to the Principal Cathoec Chaplain, 52.
