PRAGUE CHURCHES RESTORED. —Twelve churches in Prague are being restored, among them St. John's and St. Giles'.

SPAIN'S EUCHARISTIC CONGRESS. —General Franco has announced, on a visit to Seville, that the 1942 International Eucharistic Congress would be held in Seville.

CATHEDRAL ON PRISON SITE.— Mgr. Browne, Bishop of Galway, is to use the site of the old County Galway prison upon which to build his new cathedral.

NEW AMERICAN ARCHBISHOP.— The Holy Father has appointed Mgr, Joseph Corrigan, Rector of the Catholic University of America at Washington, Titular Archbishop of Bile.

FILM OF SAINT JOAN.—A film is to be made in Hollywood on the subject of Joan of Arc. The Swedish discovery, Ingrid Bergman, will play the name part.

CARMELITES IN POLAND. The Prior-General of the Carmelite Fathers has sent a circular letter' to two American provinces of the order asking for prayer for the Polish provinces. The Russians have occupied territory upon which are nine Carmelite foundations, among them Lemberg, Bolszzowce, Roozol, Sasiadowice, and Trembola. In German occupied territory are Cracow, Pilzno and Obory.
