Requiem for New Zealand's Premier

A solemn Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Mr Michael Joseph Savage, New Zealand's first Labour Prime Minister, by the Archbishop of Wellington, Mgr. Thomas O'Shea, to-day (Friday).

The body will lie in state in the Parliament Buildings until Saturday, when it will be conveyed to Auckland for burial on Sunday on the Bastion Point overlooking the harbour.
