We are most grateful to the many who have contributed to the appeal for clean water and sanitation in their Colombian village. You rightly mention our three local Catholic schools, Credit is also due to St Michael's school in Finchley, and to the children of St Joseph's primary school in Waltham Cross, who raised the magnificent sum of 11,000.
These and other generous contributions have enabled us to reach £5,500 in our £8,000 target. The village has also asked us for a brass band. Has anyone any ideas?
