World congress in Barcelona to open on May 26
The Holy Father has approved May 26-June 1 as the date of the International Eucharistic Congress to be held in Barcelona.
The first international congress since the one held in Budapest in 1938, it will bring to Spain Cardinals, Archbishops, Bishops and many thousands of priests and laity from all parts of the Catholic world.
Altogether 34 congresses have been held.
