WHILE I found Gerard Noel's article on the Royals (Catholic Herald, 15 January) illuminating, interesting and humorous I regret that he did not refer to the hurt Catholics feel when the media refer to a Royal who marries a Catholic having to denounce his or her rights to the throne.
To hear it twice as part of a TV news programme on the evening of the separation of the Price and Princess of Wales made me feel an outcast, and a disloyal subject of the Crown. Do we Catholics threaten the Crown?
If this law does not apply to Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, and United Reformist and other religion sects, why are we Catholics singled out?
Were the Duke of Norfoli, President of the Catholic Union, and Catholic MPs challenge this unjust law (history and have it removed. would not we Catholics h. eternally grateful?
