ATOUR of a nun's cell and an open confessional drew many questions from a group of Anglicans. Protestants, loss and people of no religion during an open house held by families of St. Boriaventures parish, Welwyn Garden City, last Saturday.
The parish Christian Family
Group led more than 80 visitors
round the church, explaining the use of the baptismal font. altars and Stations of the Cross with the aid of printed cards.
Then the tour visited the convent next door to see its new chapel. one of the Sisters' cells and a display of sacred vessels. Discussions continued over tea in the school canteen.
