One School Child To Three Houses

One child, including babies, to every two houses; one child of school age to every three houses.

That is the state of affairs revealed by a census on a new housing estate at Bents Green, Sheffield, and the Sheffield Schools' Management Committee have decided that the provision of a new Council school cannot be justified.

Instead they have decided to ask the Transport Committee to increase the 'bus service from the estate to the nearest schools.
