The English Catholic colony in Rome and Vatican City celebrated the wedding of Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip with solemn High Mass at the Beda College for the intentions of the Royal couple.
Members of the Diplomatic Missions to Italy and the Vatican and a large number of British, Dominion and Empire clergy, studying in Rome, attended the Mass.
