TWO NEW UKRAINIAN BISHOPS FOR CANADA

By a special Papal decree, two further Ukrainian Catholic Bishops have been created in Canada, bringing the number of Ukrainian dioceses in the Dominion to three.

The Most Rev. Isidore Boretsky, of St. Catherine's, Ontario, has been placed in charge of the Toronto Diocese, while the Most Rev. Andrew Rohoretsky has been appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Winnipeg, The new Edmonton Diocese is to he administered by Bishop Neil Savaryn.

Of the 420,000 Ukrainians in Canada. more than 305,000 are Catholics.
