Two of England's first martyrs, Blessed Robert Lawrence and Blessed John Houghton, the Carthusians, were commemorated last Sunday, when the annual pilgrimage to the ruins of Beauvale Priory. Notts. was held. This year the procession from Moorgreen to the former priory, now at the rear of a farmhouse, took place in the rain. The preacher was the Rev. Fr. Seraphim, C.P.
