Clergy And The New National Insurance Scheme Up to May

8, a total of 414,018 persons had applied for contribution cards as news corners in Class 2 and 3 (selfemployed and non-employed) of the National Insurance Scheme which starts on July 5 next.

Priests, nuns and others who fall into Class 2 and 3 are reminded that there are now only seven weeks left to become insured before the National Insurance Scheme comes into full operation on July 5. Without a card they Will not be able to qualify for benefits.
