OBITUARY
Fr. Daniel Flickie, who died in Ireland earlier this month aged 53, was born in Rathmore, Co. Kerry, and ordained at St. John's, Waterford, in 1942. He worked in the Clifton Diocese for ten years before ill-health caused him to retire to Ireland, Fr. Alphonsus O'Kune„ parish priest of (lie' Sacred Heart and St. Bernard's. Sunnyside, Halifax, since April of this Year. aged 57. He was parish priest of St. Alban's, Denaby Main, Doncaster for nearly 17 sears before going to Halifax. Preciously he served in Brasile:rd. South Elmshall and Silsclen.
Fr. Philip Cahill, at Our Lady of Sorrows and St. Bridget. isleworth, Middlesex, aged 51. Ile started his ordained life at tit. Slate Moorfields, and later served at Edgeware before going to Oh:worth ten years ago.
Fr, John Henry Cotton, parish priest in the ohilium-Nt.anga area tit Natal, South Africa, aged 54. in a sanatoriimi at Pinelands, Natal. He first became ill more than a year ago. Born in England. Fr. Coson was ordained in 1937 and went In South Africa later that year. His first appointment was at Wynbcrg. Cape Province.
