CATHOLIC ALMANACK

SIR,—To increase the usefulness of the Catholic Almanack and Register, it is proposed to include in the 1947 edition a Directory of the Catholic Press and Publishers. The aim is to include under the first heading all Catholic publications issued at least four times a year and with an appeal that is national or diocesan. Under the second heading, we wish to include the names of all publishers concerned in the main with the publication of Catholic hooka.

Much of the necessary information to complete such a Directory is already in our hands, but in some cases exact titles and precise addresses are required. May we beg the courtesy of your coluswis to ask the editors of the publications concerned. and the publishing houses specified above to furnish the undersigned with the following information as soon as possible: Catholic Press—name of publication, full postal address frequency of publication; Catholic publishers—title of firm and address.
