Catholic Bantu schools made a clean sweep—taking first, second and third places—in the Native Standard IV examinations in the Orange Free State. St, Mary's Mission school. Bloemfontein, obtained the highest number of passing certificates. St. Barnard's Mission School. Bloemfontein, was second, and St. Peter Claver Mission School, in Korronstad. was third.
