The argument that because the Protestants did it we must never do it is astonishinR. Not only do Protestants share much of the Chrismin faith. for example. Baptism: (does this suggest that we must give it up!) hut the Reformation itself introduced a number Of changes. designed to suit the aeridentals of Christianitv to a new svorld, which so far as they went may have been Rood. If so, any reluctance to-day to adopt thriller, accidental changes, simply because the Protestants made them, suegests the mentality which, as a matter of history, unwittingly furthered the cause of heres.v 400 years ago.EDITOR
