Wine Cellar Chapel Interests the Pope

A special letter from the Pope. cootaining his blessing. is being framed and kept in an old wine cellar. which is now a chapel and which men of the unit commanded by Lt.-Col. F. A. Riney, of Leicester, ha* cot/vested to its new use in Italy. The chapel is a memorial to the men who gave their lives in the Salerno landing. One corporal supplied the paintings. and another built a marble altar, all in their spare time.

The Holy Father has sent the letter as the result of seeing photographs of the chapel.
