I THOROUGHLY agree with -IAileen McClement (November 13) and others who have written regretting the change nuns' in nu' habits. Here and there these offer an improvement, but the large majority have e most unattractive (and I, too, deplore those "tufts of hair") and command no respect whatsoever. The older nuns retain their owe them, in the dignity and the religious respect we serenity of their faces, but the younger sisters look, alas, almost entirely nondescript in their dress. I admit they have happy faces, but their untidy habits! Let us hope they settle to something more becoming soon, with uniformity in skirt lengths also, A. Kitching (Mrs.) Plymouth.
