YEAR 13 students of Ratcliffe College in Leicester hosted a fashion show on Friday March 6 in the school’s theatre in support of the charity Help the Aged.
The latest lines in children’s and menswear were provided by Christopher Scotney’s of Leicester, with fashionable women’s clothing supplied by Zebra of Rothley. S I Opticals of Leicester displayed a range of stylish sunglasses and spectacles. Several weeks ago the school ran a competition in which students designed T-shirts on the theme of “holiday”. The winning entries were displayed in the fashion show, as were individual items of clothing designed and produced by several older Ratcliffe students.
The models for the evening – more than 46 in total – ranged from five-year-olds in the junior department to finalyear A-level students. The event raised £1,500 for Help The Aged. Graham Sharpe, assistant head, said: “Congratulations to Year 13.”
