A Model Of Christian Virtue

Page 8 from 15th February 1952

THE Catholic people of this country and of the Com,

monweallh mourn the death of Her Majesty Queen Mary with a deep sorrow.

Throughout her long life, she has been a model of the role of royalty whose Christian roots run so deep.

In public and private life; in the grandeur of her position, together with the sorrows and joys which have come to her personally; in times of war as in times of peace she has stood before

U.S all as one about whom no breath of criticism has ever been uttered or could ever have been littered.

It is known that at times she found comfort in the peace and quiet of a small London Catholic church, and this thought brings uS very close to her.

We pray that her noble life and service to her country, her family and her people will be remarried by Almighty Cod in the knowledge of Him as He sees Himself, and the love of Him as He loves Himself.
