RANSOM NOTES

I had a postcard from a gentleman last week saying that he was certain that a statement of how funds are distributed would increase subscriptions. No doubt there are many people who think the same, and like him, do not know that we publish a report every year with all our accounts audited by a chartered accountant, and that; anyone who wants to see them can have a copy for the asking.

This is one of the things about which the Council is most particular;' we have done our best to make the fact known; I have mentioned it more than once in these notes, but like the writer of the postcard who failed to see our address in these notes, whom I mentioned last week, many people may have missed it.

I have sent a copy of the Report to the gentleman and hope that it will meet with his approval.
